    Klark Kent was Steward Copeland's solo project done while still under contract (hence the not so subtle alias). I don't think any of the other Police played on it.

    I know Andy Summers played on it. I thought he was a regular member of the band, but he may have only played on a couple of numbers.

    i wouldnt call keef a lead singer either, but he always mangaged to get a song in on each album - "little t and a" and "silver" come to mind.

    i like his voice. sure he is borderline out of tune, but he uses it well.

    I think you should have to have a hit with more than one singer, or at least a large percentage of your songs sung by a different singer, to make this more meaningful. KISS definitely qualifies there. A lot of these bands mentioned seem to only have a different singer on a song or two.

    Also, King's X.

    311 was the first that came to my mind.

    I thought there was only one guy from DM was singing, and that was Dave Gahan.
