Mike Patton also put out a CD with the hardcore band Dillenger Escape Plan just last year. Only 4 songs, but it is some pretty insane ****.

I don't think he did. He did have some solo albums released in 1988 but they were from work he did in 1970. He is still alive. I believe he went crazy or catatonic from taking too much LSD. He may have also had a breakdown in conjunction with drug use. I'm not sure anyone really knows or I haven't heard exactly what went awry in his head.

You're joking right? Please tell me you are because no one was better than Glenn Danzig on vocals for that band.

All their stuff after he left sucks ass.

    N.W.A.

    First was ICE CUBE

    Then was EASY-E

    Now is Snoop Dogg?

Not exactly a band, but definitely a group that stayed platinum in record sales after changes at the front man.

Maybe this will answer your question. Can you believe LSD at first was originally used to treat alcoholics and deprression!? http://www.pink-floyd.org/barrett/faq.html http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_timeline.php3
