I am NOT trying to be ballsy. I just go with my gut feeling and I'm 3 for 3 so far. I hope I am wrong, because it would simply end this miserable experiment and prove superstition shouldn't exist.
Even if you get the next one wrong, you'd still be 3/4. .750 is still a good stat. That's playoffs kinda stat. I say continue until the end of the season and see how your predictions pan out.
How does this prove anything? If you flip a coin three time, you have a 12.5% of guessing all three flips correctly.
If an octopus can randomly guess the right football team to win in the World Cup you can guess games right 3 times out of 3 too.
That's a ballsy prediction. I like it. Anyways, I'm having fun reading this thread. Ignore the haters.
Hey guys, There was this one time that I predicted correctly the result of a game that was going to be close. As a result, I now feel entitled to predict the result of one other game, and you must all bow down if I get it right. Or maybe it was an overdose of caffeine?
That's irrelevant because he's not saying he got it right 3 times and therefore he's some psychic, but he's just saying he hasn't gotten 1 wrong yet. You guys need to relax with the hating. He's not even saying he's better than any of you. He even said he wouldn't even care if he finally gets 1 wrong. He's just having fun and saying he hasn't gotten 1 wrong yet. This is just a friendly prediction thread. I know some of you are thinking, "Oh, let's all create a thread when we get that feeling." Sure why not, if you have a strong feeling and want to share, but we all know if a bunch you guys decide to start something like this, it'll just be to mock the OP. Relax and stop the hating. Regardless of what you all are saying, the OP still hasn't been mean to any of you. Want attention? Who gives a **** about that. If you're an adult, and you're still worried that someone might take all the attention away, then you need to grow up. Pathetic if you're a grown man and you still care about who's more popular.
Anyways, I hope we win today like the OP predicted. However, if we lose, all you haters can flock in here and talk about how he was wrong. Though honestly, he probably wouldn't even care that he was wrong.
That's exactly what he's saying, otherwise he wouldn't say I disagree with that statement. If he gets the rest of the season right, it proves absolutely nothing. But when you have no argument, you can always fall back on "hater". If that fails, you can always try "don't go there". Very intelligent, mature sayings.
This one is so obvious. Of course he waited for the spread. I just saw it Rockets (+1.5) and I mean come on. The Spurs have beat the Rockets all three times this season, and they're on a 4 game win streak. Who cares if they don't have Parker. Injury riddled Spurs teams still own the NBA. This guy is not predicting anything. He is just using the spread to call games. I guess he deserves some props.
"Superstition"...lucky guesses whatever you want to call it. I am sure he doesn't think he's some godly man, if he did, he wouldn't even have invited others to do the predictions with him. He probably just wants to see how many times he can get it right. He just wanted to share. I don't see him acting like he's better than anyone else. I just see it as a friendly thread. I think you're just looking into it too deep. There's no argument because there's nothing to form it on. So it doesn't matter if he eventually gets it wrong because it was never that big of a deal in the first place. He's just saying that sometimes he get this feeling, and he's gotten them all right so far. He just wants to share. I just don't see any harm in that. Just all for fun.
