im pretty sure DeAleck was just getting nervous from all the right feelings so this time he made sure to say we would win so he would be wrong on purpose!
You're right. He couldn't handle the responsibility of being a messiah so he purposely tanked. It is the equivalent of Jesus saying "F this **** I ain't dying for your sins"
The Rockets mostly lost tonight because of the schedule. They didn't get into Denver until 9am this morning, played at high altitude, and got beaten soundly, as reasonably expected. I was sorry to see DeAleck's streak end, but this loss was predictable when looking at the factors above.
Well all good things come to an end sooner or later. Nice run. I wonder if he actually got/gets banned for a week
No logical person would have predicted a Rox win for this one. 2nd of a back to back. Denver high altitude. Parsons out with an injury.... The best chance we had of winning @ Denver was Jan. 30th. Rockets coming off a blowout win @ Salt Lake City (Also a high altitude city) and fully rested and healthy. Had a day to rest and played Nuggets w/out Javale Mcgee. What happened? McHale blows a 12 pts 4th quarter lead by benching Lin and Harden, and letting Tony Douglas run the offence for 5 minutes. Then benching Asik and going small minded small ball for the rest of the game. Bad coaching lost that game which should've been a win.
Dang, wish we didn't lose today, but props to you Aleck, that was an awesome streak. I remember thinking when you predicted the GSW game to be a loss, I was like, who is this douche? But keep predicting man; it makes watching the games more interesting!
So why did you continue trying to predict, knowing that people would lose money and view you as a god-like figure? Why did you not simply stop predicting when you saw what your predictions were doing? Oh and by the way, on the online game Streak for the Cash, people regularly predict 20-30 outcomes in a row.
Seriously people? Its a freaking internet forum. He was having fun with a game prediction streak. It ended today. Put away the pitchforks already.
No he wasn't, he was causing people to lose their houses and their faith in the heavenly father. I am staying vigilant with my pitchfork out and ready.
