Nice. However, if the Rockets do lose to a limping squad it's not a good sign in the post season....

I wonder. Is DeAleck forecasting the game or is DeAleck.

    CHANGING THE FUTURE.

You're having a nice run, but it doesn't say too much about your foresights into the future when you aren't making the predictions all at once. You have a %50 probability of predicting the outcome correctly, but it gets exponentially harder to make future predictions based on past predictions in a series.

I can guess tomorrows game at a 50% rate, but I'd only have a 1/4 chance if I made two in a row. Now I know these games aren't truly like an even coin, but the point still stands. Here's to a slaughter, though!

Yeah but OP has gotten 9 in a row. 9!!! I can go flip a coin 9 times and call heads or tails each time. I doubt anyone would get all 9 flips correct. I'm impressed. I hope he doesn't get flamed when he gets one wrong.

Maybe there are a million alternative universes and DeAleck makes every possible decision in each universe and our universe happens to be the one in which every one of those decisions are correct.

Not impressed, at least BeatLA posted his predictions well in advance.

You can **** on DeAleck but don't prop BeatLA up. He got 2 wrong already, and then tried to make up some excuse to protect his pride.

If the Clutchfans Pope gets this one right it will be pretty impressive; "Hardin" and the Rockets don't do too well on ESPN.

What you are saying doesn't make sense. As long as he's predicting them before it happens, the probability of guessing right is the same. No matter if he guessed them all before the 1st game or each one right before it happened. Of course in real life it's not independent and we have some prior information that changes the likelihood of rockets winning or losing and the later he predicts the information he'll have to increase the odds of guessing it right.

I only got one wrong because of some doubts. I will never doubt myself again. I bet I finish the season with a better record and predict the spreads as well.

I'm pretty sure they've won most ESPN games.

Yea, plus he makes and sticks by predictions before major developments are announced like Harden and Parson's absence.

I think there should be no difference correctly predicting 10 coin flips one at a time vs predicting 10 flips all at once.

    Impressive streak! Fun thread :)
