That is WAY to much to give up. Morgan last year was better than Tejada this year and you have to think that after his shoulder clears up he will get back to near where he was before.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't make this trade

Ummm.... no. If they think our offense is "woefully inadequate," they should look at our pitching.

I would be Roy-O-ly pissed if Roy Oswalt gets traded for any reason.

This better be another crazy rumor.

You have to have solid 1-3 starters at least to win in the playoffs, and trading Oswalt would kill the future of our pitching staff.

Getting Tejada does not guarantee a world series appearance, or even a playoff appearance. We could end up not making the playoffs this year, and not having an ace for many years to come.

Like I said, this better be a fabrication. They shouldn't even be discussing Oswalt. I have supported this organization with nearly all of their moves in the past 10 years or so, but this would destroy us.

So this is what the Orioles will stoop to to drive up the bidding for Tejada?

I'm starting to have flashbacks of dealing with Weisbrod.

The Mets need a pitcher more than they need hitting... would you trade David Wright for Roy Oswalt?

I wouldn't... nor would I trade him for Tejada. Oswalt is every bit as good as any other starter out there today... if he was left-handed, he'd be as good as Liriano or Santana (just look at the numbers Roy put up when he first burst on the scene, like Fransisco is).
