I'm a college student and don't have a bunch of money, but I love watching basketball and football however I HATE the P2P streaming out there because the quality is terrible. So in the meanwhile the only free service I've found was ustvnow dot com. It will give you 6 free channels: ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC and PBS. So there is a chance you can catch some major games. Unfortunately not much Rockets/Texans. It's crystal clear HD and free. I have Chromecast and the only issue I have with it is that since my computer is really old I have a hard time casting HD movies on my TV without it being choppy. I also am disappointed that you can't cast from your hard drive in fullscreen without having the movie play on your computer as well. Apparently this can be fixed for Windows users, but I own a MacBook. Hopefully an update will be available one day.
Posting yet again just to say ballstreams remains awesome. I'm seeing way more NBA basketball than I ever did with League Pass BB with this service.
I love the service as well, but the quality of the stream to me has been subpar. It doesn't seem to be very HD to me. But hey, it's better than nothing.
This. It's much better than something like firstrow but the quality seems to have dropped since it first started
Definitely a noticeable difference between their ESPN/TNT and regional feeds. Probably has to do with their servers being overloaded.
Living in Colorado and being able to enjoy the games on my iphone, iPad, laptop in high def… it's a freaking bargain!
i split the cost with my bro in law. so $30 to watch rockets games in 2 different houses.. i wonder if you could go as far as splitting the cost 4 or 6 ways with fellow CFers and everyone using the same account. i had a stream running to an ipod and roku simultaneously, while he had a stream running to a ps3 and an iphone and there was no issues with lag or anything..
Trying to log on and watch tonight's game, and the Rockets/Pelicans game is just.. NOT THERE.. anyone else seeing this?
Yeah. Just got in from the gym and saw on the ESPN ticker that they had a nice comeback at the end of the 4th. I wanted to watch the last five or so minutes but the game isn't there. Wtf. Edit: Nevermind, just popped up.
