Then you have a web solution where you can watch from anywhere and have all games from all teams stored like a DVR.
    Plus, don't hold your breath.

Will probably be on board with this this weekend. I have a Roku HD still in a box that I never used. My only question though is that my PC is downstairs and I have an extender for wireless upstairs. Can I just run from wireless, run an HD cord to my Uverse box and get the game upstairs? I do have surround sound built into my ceilings that goes through an amp so I'm pretty sure I won't get the surround sound of the game, but listening just to the TV is fine...I've just got to have the games this year. In no way can I go another year without it.

If you are thinking about buying this, you should wait until next week. This whole CSN thing could shift dramatically.

Yeah, I've been following yourself, Max, etc. in the thread in the Astros forum, it's pretty much all I've been reading and refreshing every day. Coming from you and the knowledge you have I'll wait. Just so frustrating.

Even if CSN spans out. I'd still buy BStreams. It's amazing. It's heaven for basketball fans. Every game at your finger tips, even if you missed the game, they have them all archived as SOON as the game is finished. Not just Rockets games... EVERY game. It's too crazy.

I already have the NBA TV package with Uverse (got it for only $70.00) so I'm set for other games if the Rockets do come back on my TV.

You connect the Roku to your TV; WIFI gives everyone different results so it's hard for me to tell you how well it would work but I would always suggest a wired connection. But I had success at a friends place through WIFI, absolutely no lagging.

Problem is my extended wi-fi is horrible. The office is on the other side of the house and the signal is weak through all of the walls. :(

Sure, if your reason to buy it is the mobile access, then by all means. If your reason is to simply get access to Rockets games on your television, you should hold out to see how this plays out.

Is there a consensus on what the best way to stream this on a TV is without hooking my laptop up to the TV? I've got a smart TV, and Roku seems to be working well for some. Would I need a certain Roku box, or will the cheapest one out there do the trick?

Just signed up for 1 month. Want to try it out first before paying for more.
So far I only tried streaming a live game on my Mac using Chrome. It kept freezing up through the Flash Live player on their site. So I used VLC player instead and that seemed to work better.

I have ATT UVerse 12Mbps down. Using WIFI but the signal is strong.
    No problems with internet connection.

Any advise on how to get the best quality with no freezing up?
