What location do you Houston users use. Mine is defaulted at north America eastern. Does the location make a difference
Was dealing with a sick baby last night so I didn't get to watch. Sneaking the game in at my desk at work is the best. So glad I went with this service.
Anyone? I will probably try this for a week first see how it goes then i'll grab the 6 months if satisfied
NBA LP So i live in Beaumont which is roughly 85 miles outside of Houston.....will the games still be blacked out?:confused (they do get blacked out on NBA TV....also I used to get FSHouston) so does anyone know because I would definately drop $200 for LP.
Yeah, it does make a big difference in terms of stability & few lags. Make it default to North America Central in your profile account settings. I don't get any lag on Central, but when I used to use East (when it was on default by BallStream before) I used to get nasty lagging. Assuming you're from Texas, make sure you're on Central! I know man. We are absolutely spoiled with this service. It's speechless! I'm at a total loss of words too! Spoiler
No blackouts on BallStreams, ever. Location doesn't matter. You'll get every game for every team live and archived games for every team/game... yeah we're going to be very spoiled with this service this year. As for NBA LP, I have no idea about Beaumont. Sorry man.
I've watched 3-4 games now and it works for me on my wired Roku 3. I did have to scale back the resolution a bit because it was queuing every now and then. So the quality isn't HD but it looks/works great on my 46" LCD. Because this works reliably now, I cancelled my cable saving me $80/mo. Worth it for me. My only grips are watching in DVR mode, if I stop watching and come back later it doesn't save my spot so I have to FF until I get back to where I was. I also wish there was a 30sec skip to get past commercials. So I watch more commercials now than I did before since I can't skip commercials like I did on my Windows Media Server.
Yeah I'll for sure try it....I was in the Army until the second half of last season so it's been pretty much 5 years of...wait for it....firstrowsports
Before anything, thank you for serving in the army for us, sir. That's awesome man. For sure man, FRSports (as crappy as it was) is a blessing for everyone who wants to get a quick stream to basically any sport and any game, anywhere in the world, and for that I applaud FRSports's service. They've done a heck of a deed for myself and a lot of people too. BallStreams is like having the actual channel (all nba teams), it's just you're streaming it. If you have 4MBPS or highter internet, you should be fine for the high quality for 1 game at a time. I have 12MBPS, and I can run 2 high quality HD streaming games at once easily.
I think you'll be okay if you do, just call your credit card company to confirm the amount Ballstream charges you? My friend paid with a credit card and he was all good, nothing fishy. I used PayPal on the other hand, just because I like PayPal. If you don't have PayPal, you should be fine buddy.
thanks, buddy. i got them to add paypal but after i pick the package im prompted to make sure the package is is correct and click "continue" to comlplete, but there is no "continue" button. i just wanted to make sure.
I used my credit card. I tried to use Discover's one time use virtual credit card but unfortunately the website does not accept them. So I ended up just using my AMEX which emails me with every transactions so I will easily know if something fishy happens.
Depends. Usually North America Eastern works, but if it's lagging I change it to Central. Works fine then.
