I tried using my xbox but it didn't work. Im guessing i need a video player or something? Nothing loads. Do i dl a certain player? Is there an app or something? Should i not be using ie but instead something else?
What's your wifi speed? If you have a little more than 3.2MBPS you can stream one game at a time in high HD quality., I would say 4 to be sure I think. If not, I'm assuming you have at least 800kbps of speed, so you can still watch on low quality which isn't that bad. I have 12MBPS and watch 2 games at a time on high quality, with no issues. No guarantee, but so far, so good, looks like it'll be up and running for a while! Gotta keep our fingers crossed. Experience is amazing. Getting TV like quality feeds on your comp or any portable device for a pretty small price is just unreal. If you don't have access to CSN or don't want to pay for NBALP and their stupid blackouts, you gotta get BallStreams. It's just too good. I'm a happy rockets fan!
I just downloaded the app for Android and it comes in quite amazing. Although I'm at campus using my schools wifi. I'm also sure it will look amazing at home using my wifi, not sure about regular 4g/3g speeds yet.
Has anyone tried sending the video from an Android device that supports MHL to HDTV? My phone supports MHL but I have never tried it and don't know anyone who has. If it works like it should I will buy a cable.
Guys this is going to sound like a noob question and it's probably already been answered. But if I bought this for my household would my father (who lives with me) be able to watch it on his computer as well? We would both have the same IP address and was wondering if we can a dual stream with one account. Sorry if this has already been answered.
Here is what I am referring to: http://www.amazon.com/Protocol-Impr...385712&sr=8-10&keywords=lg+spectrum+mhl+cable
Should work. That's what I used on my former HTC One X+ and used directv's app to view NBATV games that were "blacked-out" normally. It pretty much mirrors your device so it shouldn't be an issue.
But why does it mention pc? Is that a mistake or does my xbox for some reason need top be hooked up to my xbox? Or, do all i need to do us download serviio and just go from there i guess?
Take a deep breath and read the directions. You will install the Serviio software on your PC. After you've set everything up on your PC, per the directions, then you will fire up your XBox and follow the instructions for streaming the games.
Hopefully higher demand doesn't break their service. A lot more people will join as the season nears which means more hits against their capacity.
It was just ISP issues, as their Admin said. Switch to Central North America stream. If that doesn't help, switch browsers to Mozilla Firefox. I have absolutely no lagging anymore. It was just the first few minutes.
For those of you with older computers that have videocards: http://www.ballstreams.com/devices#potplayer I download PotPlayer from the link they provide, set up according to their instructions, and the stream looked great and had just a handful of skips the entire game.
