I just pulled the trigger on this. Tried to use Discover's one time use credit card numbers but the site only takes Visa/MC. Anyway, the on-demand stream for the Pelican game looks really good. I'm excited because I didn't get to see any game but the ESPN ones last year and the one I saw live. I couldn't take it anymore.
As for those worried that the NBA will take them down, apparently they have a sister site called hockeystreams that has been up for 6 years. And that Norway allows people to legally stream News... of which sports is considered news. I read that on realgm or something so not sure how true that is.
Yep it's been mentioned before and it's one of the sole reasons why I'm pretty keen on ballstreams stayin up and running for a while. If not..... then well, it'll be a super disappointment.
I'm in the same boat as you. I'll probably see if itsmyfault (I think it's him?) can get his website working. If not, I guess I'll have to do this or nbalp.
So apparently ballstreams does not have streams for the 2 games currently going. Hopefully they will have tomorrows Rockets game since its on NBA TV
I really hope he can get it going. The one year the Rockets have championship aspirations and I'm stuck in Austin unable to watch any games. :'(
Hmm, I just noticed that. I saw earlier there were two games and just thought there were only two games tonight. Now that I checked on ESPN that there are 5 games I am concerned about not all the games being shown. That would suck. Edit: I opened a trouble ticket with them. Let's see what they say.
Okay. I misread tallanvor's post. I thought he said the games were currently on NBA TV but not on the streams. I checked the NBA TV schedule and the current games are not on the there. So there is nothing for them to stream. As for ballstreams support, they've already replied back to me. I have no idea what time it is over there but they respond quick!
I think it's more difficult for a company such as the NBA to alone try to take action against ballstreams. If the US Government gets involved, they could shut it down real quick, that has happened before with free streaming sites.
