along with bagwell's MVP, he also won a gold glove in 94'. if that aint electric, I dont know what is.
Taveras came close to a historic season with the number of infield hits he had last year. He probably would have set the record if it wasn't for his late season injury. I don't think he can count on 70-80 infield/bunt hits again. His OBP was not very good for someone of his speed. This is not a knock against Taveras. He had a good season for someone who never played AAA ball. He simply still has a lot to work on and going to the minors would not be the worst thing that could happen. That being said, I suspect, at best, Bagwell will start the season on the DL.
