That will make it easier to activate Cato and explains Collier's dismal showing in the few games he's played since he returned.

Crap...that's too bad. I'd really like to see how Collier was coming along. In the early season I was really kind of impressed by his play. Then again, I'm not really convinced he is the difference between the rockets being a play-off team or a lottery team.

Damn! My heart nearly came out of my chest. I thought you were going to say: "Steve has broken his ankle", or "Hakeem has hurt his knee", or "Mobley breaks elbow."
This unfortunate news, but at least we won't have to see Collier coming in and throwing bricks like he usually does when he gets minutes.

This only ensures that we'll end up with another Collier in the draft.

I should hope that all of you who are piling on Jason in his moment of weakness will be lining up to eat your fair share of crow if he turns into an all star. I'm not neccessarily saying he will be, but I was very impressed with his progress before the injury. I know he isn't the speediest man in the league, but I think you guys are exagerating. Also, I'm not a doctor, but I think attempting to play on an injured knee will tend make one look slow.

Collier an allstar? lol! C'mon now, what progress?! Collier is nothing more than a space eater with a decent jumper, but he never hits his jumper because he has no confidence. Allstar and Jason Collier dont go together. He has no athleticism. His only asset is his size, which may be a good thing for the rocks. I dont doubt that he could help this team, but all star? No way.

Is Jason Collier's injury the same as Charles Barkley's injury from last year when he injured his quadriceps tendon and was expected to miss six months?

How long is Collier going to be injured? Can he return for the playoffs?

For those that bash J Collier
Would you rather Mihm and his Price tag?

Depends on what two sandwiches your talking about. I don't know if I'd put him above a good PB&J or a grilled ham and cheese, but he is definitly better than egg salad or tuna loaf.
