This. A young character who needs to get his head straight.
What place would be better than Houston.
Still going for Bosh FIRST. I can understand.

By BUY, Mr. Brooks and we will keep the NYK picks. This will happen if and only if we have a firm hold on Kyle Lowry. Lowry starts (which he wants maybe more than money) and we may see Llull a year early (contract buy out from overseas). This would be a dream if we land Wesley Johnson. We would hit the lotto if somehow Even Turner was to falls to us.

i understand that he`s a good player, on a crappy team. he does put up good numbers though. i don`t think he`s the guy. if he does decide to come here, i hope we don`t give up too much.

if we want to win now, get LBK or Wade, not Bosh.

This is really our chance to cement our future IMO.

Hopefully we can piece together a contender around Yao for a couple years but this gives us a shot at a long term foundation.

    Hard to argue with that
but we can't allow ourselves dreaming.
What is the chance that Wade or BronBron are coming.
Bosh is a long shot himself. So... yeah we might die trying. BUT I like our chances to get young players who are 2 way players

since we`re trying to win one now, that`s enough reasoning to get Bosh over here. it all depends on Yao, if he can stay healthy, i think we have a decent shot.

IF he can stay healthy, with or without Bosh, that`s the key.

All this adds up to one thing, Morey being aggressive and looking for impact players on rookie contracts.

And we need to keep Chase. Give him another year of seasoning and he'll be even more valuable.

I think you have to do this deal. Randolph is too talented.

Our #14 in this weak draft is not worth much. The Knick's 2012 pick is not guaranteed to be top 6. I love Budinger, but he's replaceable.

If we can hit on the #6 this year and Randolph turns out to be half as good as his potential, this would be a great deal for us.

Randolph is amazingly talented. There are very few 6'11" guys who are super athletic, can take guys off the dribble, and hit pull up midrange jumpers. He also blocks shots and rebounds. If he didn't have all the signs of a headcase, this deal would be a no brainer.

I don't like throwing in Budinger. I'd feel much more comfortable throwing in Jordan Hill instead. The warriors probably wouldn't do it, though. The quality of talent at #6 is much better than at #14.

Agreed. I think the Knick's 2012 pick is the top 5 protected. The rockets would't get a pick higher than the #6. Budinger is an offensive speicialist. Not all the teams are very high on him. Perhaps only a few offensive head coaches (e.g., Nelson) are high on him. The rockets cannot miss this chance.

Sometimes you need to give to get. Would hate to see CBud go, but I try not to fall in love with players.

Get r Done! Standing pat and waiting on Bosh will only make you lose out on deals like this! This deal would increase our chances in getting Bosh if Morey were to run head first at Bosh(more/better) assets with a brighter future.

    =)

My guess is Cbud is indeed the player GS is looking at. The Knicks 2012 pick though is the only "Bosh asset" that gets knocked off in this scenario.

I agree, that Morey is going to have to have a better feel about Bosh's intentions and see who is available at #6 on Draft night before he makes a move.

Its a 2012 pick which means top 5 protected, so at best we can get the 6th pick of the 2012 draft, or trade it for the garaunteed 6th pick of this deep draft.

No offense, but are you actually saying this upcoming draft is a "weak" draft?
