That is true, but since you decided to make your statement in a new & stand alone thread, it is easier for people to register their feelings - impressions by rating it.

    So far, not so good.

I hate to be the eeyore of the board, but step back and think for a second. No way this happens. NO WAY.

We really hated T-Mac. Would we have given up a 6th overall pick AND well, ANYONE on our roster just to get rid of him? OK, they are getting Budinger back. I like Budinger, but it still wouldn't be close.

i wouldn't trade places with Randolph or ClarenceBeeks4 even if their other Duke brother Battier was involved instead of Hill ; but for Inga from Sweden yes i would trade Hill

I want some attention, too. Can I have some? Damn, I should have started my own thread and used "the" 37 times in a row. What's that about anyway, some new mtv thing? I'm old.

    Agreed.

Budinger makes perfect sense as well- the same as Landry. Go into the 2nd round, find a gem and turn them for a huge return. I would expect for DM to get a couple 2nd round picks to repeat the process.

Not calling for his head. Just want him to at least show up again to say, Look, honest, I'm not making this up, doesn't mean the trade will happen, etc etc. Instead, he's been M.I.A.

    Do the deal!

Bosh isn't coming here, he wants to ride someone else's jock to win a championship. Let's get younger/taller/more athletic AND get the 6th pick and roll with what we've got.

I'd only do this deal if we can in turn turn the 6th pick into the 4th pick from Minnesota. Actually that sounds pretty likely.

In this draft the 6th pick is as useful to a team as the 14th pick. I mean for example for someone like Greg Monroe...could easily go 6th or slip all the way down to 14th.

Anthony Randolph >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chase Budinger. We can sign shooters but we can't sign future Lamar Odoms. Its that simple.

I think this would be a really stupid trade for us. As an Oregonian, I know exactly how much of an idiot Zach Randolph is. He caused a lot of the issues for the Jail Blazers back in the day. He is a lockerroom cancer. He also has two years left for a total of $33 million!! He is a blackhole on offense and he has questionable work ethic. Brooks and Lowry are playing great for us. Why would we want to ruin that and bring in Ellis?! Randolph would definitely be a good player for us to have, but we don't want to ruin any of the team chemistry we have. There are much better trades out there!!

I would not be surprised if Cousins goes 6th.

    Wall to Wash.

    Favors to Phila.

    Turner to NJ

    Johnson to Minn.

Aminu or Cousins to Sacramento and I imagine Aminu is a better fit considering their frontcourt already in place

We could have a run @ so many great pieces picking 6th. Wesley Johnson could potentially even slip! Cousins, Monroe, and Ed Davis could ALL be available.

Wow I like this deal A LOT. Marc Stein's talking like he knew how DM would draft, however I'm pretty sure DM is someone who keeps things close to the vest. Regardless, this deal allows us to move from the 14th spot where we draft high potential but low impact players (i.e. Whiteside) to high potential mid-impact players (i.e. Turner, Ekpe Udoh, Greg Monroe, Ed Davis).Who says the throw away player would have to be C-Bud? DM could haggle and the warriors could end up with the rights to Marty Leunen (stretch 3/4 they always want) and Sergio Lull. Randolph is a great 3-4 hybrid is a great talent. He may be a bit of a knucklehead, however the concern about him is wanting to play, which doesn't seem like a big deal to me esp. for a rookie.

In terms of trading for Bosh, the 6th pick is probably more appealing to the Raptors than 14th, C-Bud and the Knicks pick, and if we include Anthony Randolph in the package we could get away with Randolph, the 6th pick, Jeffries, Battier and the Knick swap for him, enabling us to keep Hill and C-bud. Frontcourt rotation of Bosh, Scola, Hill and Yao? Sign me up

So IMHO DM is making a mistake if he thinks this trade and the Bosh trade are mutually exclusive. The Warriors are offering us a chance to upgrade the assets we have. Whether we trade for Bosh or keep them, IMHO the sooner DM does this deal the better. Unless of course, he's just stalling to tip the scales a little bit more in our favor.

LOL WTF are you smoking? Zach Randolph plays in Memphis! This is a thread about ANTHONY Randolph. Also there was no mention of Ellis in the rumor

So should we all start making our own threads for every single thought that we have?

No offense, but it's not like your opinion was drastically different than anything else in that thread either.

BTW, I LIKE ALL THE CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TITLE as if this wasn't enough attention.

FWIW, I was checking out a warriors site (warriorsworld.net ).

They are talking about this (they picked it up from Rockets forums), but they think the deal is CBud, Hill, plus the two picks, for Randolph and #6. And, they're not convinced.

It points out homers' bias; maybe theirs, maybe ours, or maybe a little of both. What DM and the Warriors would be saying, if they talk about this at all, might be entirely different.
