    I would love it.

Randolph is a great player. He just needs a good mentor to guide him. The worriers are a young team, hard for him to find leadership. With our current Rox team, I would imagine the hard working 'atmosphere' would encourage him to work on his game. he could be a great player in the future. Image if he developed his game, AB and him running the pick and roll up top with Yao in the post on the base line along with martin and shane/ariza on the 3 point line. Now that is a scary offensive unit. Also his defense is not bad at all. Although he does pick up stupid fouls, but which young player doesn't. He is always active and aggressive on the defensive side. If he develops a mid range, damn, forget amare, we got our own cheaper version.

Anyway, I would do this trade. Love Cbud, but Randolph and the 6th pick in a deep draft is too good to pass up on.

interesting deal to say the least. i wouldn't want to part with cbud though. unlike others, i stll think he has some room to grow.

randolph has potential if he has his head on straight (and he very well might be if he's in the right situation).

Whether its bs or not, it was obviously something that needed to be discussed. Just goes to show, there are better deals out there besides a big time free agent. The truth is, anyone who can come here and contribute right away, would move this team closer to contention. That is why a rumor like this is so tempting because it allows you to add a contributer without giving up any of the core. Even though it is old news, it is still exciting to discuss only because it is a real possibility.

Just a thought, IF Randolph was in THIS years draft where would he go? Lets say he went to school at Golden State @ UGS coached Nelson. After all he really is this young.

Hey...you can read the sig! Monroe would be spectacular.

Cousins is a very good player, but I don't think he has the demeanor of a guy Morey would look to draft. He very well might like the guy's ability though.

Kapeci8, the original poster, is probably having a good laugh over all this. Checking in every once in awhile to say, "Wow, look at how many pages! I'll call my boy So-and-so and under his username we can have him say Chad Ford is reporting such-and-so....Bu-WA-HA-HA!"

BOSH OR HILL ; RANDOLPH FOR BUDINGER?

i just don't see the point of having bosh here.. ive tried the new espn thing that bosh is the only player that we can have, screw that. and budinger and hill have been exceptionally well,

budinger with a complete dunk and 3pt package,

while his college teammate hill, showed his potential, mid range game, defense and his aggresiveness on the boards.

i think that we should give this guys one more season before we trade them, i think i like our team very well as it is, except for the injuries..

will you take the ALL STAR CB4 and Anthony Randolph (injury prone) for the the the the the the the the the ARIZONA BOYS?

I just don't see the point of making a thread when you could just add your opinion in the existing thread.

yeah good point, but i dont think that if i replied in the last thread, my message wont have that much of a point and people wont read it, coz of having more than 5 pages and lots of replies on that thread.

Randolph did something a couple of seasons ago against Yao that made me dislike him. Anyone recall? Maybe he just kept trying to dunk on him and talked way too much trash?

As a player, it's nice to have his wingspan off the bench. He'd be kind of like a more ariel Chuck Hayes, doin it defensively up top.

Unless Cousins falls to 6, I don't do this. Skilled big men that don't need to put on 50 lbs to play at the next level are rare.

But like every draft, it will come and go and I'll totally unprepared for what Morey does.

This would be a good deal for us but my question is what are we going to do with all these post players? If this trade goes through, we would have Yao, Scola (Morey says we will resign him no matter what), Hill and Randolph, all of whom are capable of starting in the NBA. I know that Yao is going to see alot less minutes that what he used to get, but I wonder if we are collecting this young, athletic post players in case we decide not to resign Yao and go with Hill/Randolph and Scola.

Not that it hasn't already been said but all the OP really said there was an offer on the table. If this offer is true a deal like this would not be made until draft day and after the fifth pick when the Rockets can see if the player they want is available. I don't know why people are calling for this poster's head and ban after less than twenty fours after posting this thread.
