i doubt anyone outside of c-bud fan boys would rate him higher than ariza, im sorry but the rockets will not be letting ariza go in this trade if the warriors will settle for budinger. no one outside of houston knows much if anything about budinger, he can shoot and can dunk, so can ariza while playing stellar defense on a championship team.

i would definitely do this trade just because it moves us up in the draft, im not sold on randolph and i dont think anyone is but his potential is greater than budinger, cbud is a more stable player though.

and i doubt the no defense warriors want battier, and vice versa as well...

How about Cole Aldrich at 6?

He can also spike the ball.

I lost all hope for DD when he said Cbud was untouchable. On top of that, he compared him to Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant, and Lebron James.

I don't get everyone's obsession with Anthony Randolph? He is a mediocre player on a horrible team.

'Deal' sounds good to me - but, Randolph and Hill = redundancy, yes? So, this would imply a landing place for Hill?

Personally, I would do the deal depending on who's there at #6. Add the talent and balance out the roster later. Giving Budinger, the Knicks 2012 pick and this years #14 pick for Randolph and this years #6 (maybe DeMarcus Cousins) would be a major talent infusion. I love Budinger, but also loved Carl Landry and Otis Thorpe ect. Sometimes you have to give talent to get talent in return.

So, what position would Randolph play for the Rockets, does he play Power forward, he only weighs 210. If we give up CBud to Golden State, we are left with a lot of players at power forward.

Remind me when Eddie Griffin was drafted again? What about Kwame Brown, or Oliver Miller?

I am sorry, I don't like Cousins, he has skills but the fact that the dude is starting to blossom like a rhino in only a couple of months is flat out scary.

And, who says you need to make the trade anyway? Why not use the knicks picks and the pick at 14 to move up regardless?

    This year's top 3 rookies: Evans #4, Curry #7, & Jennings # 10. I don't think a top 10 rookie is too much risky. In Morey we trust! ;)

btw, how could you be so sure that CBud will contribute next year? You know how easy a rotation player could be out of the rotation. If Taylor improves his skills significantly this summer, he will take CBud's minutes next season. Taylor has defense tools that CBud doesn't have.

Taylor also doesn't have the game that Chase has, he has many holes like learning to shoot, how to play off the ball and how to go to his left and finish.

He does have great athleticism and better defense for sure.....but he is a work in progress.

There is a reason that he went to the D-league even though CBud was drafted behind him.

Someone will drop to 6. I like the sound of Wesley Johnson.. the next Kobe minded player with freakish athleticism and length. His overall game is way better than Cbud's and he also comes with the eyes of a tiger.

I still have my doubts about this trade being real. Seeing how no "big" trades should go down before the Warriors are sold.

Xiki, you would have to think another move would happen or even moving Randolf as well. The #6 pick seems like the target in all this. If Cousins falls to #6, that would be a major talent upgrade in the frontcourt and give the rockets another player to eventually build around.

Brooks went to D-league as well, and he is the current MIP.

I do think Taylor has more potential than CBud.

I forget did Cbud go to the D-league?

Taylor has as much potential as Cbud, but Cbud is a better basketball player right now.

Still no confirmation, I'm gonna say this is BS. Perhaps lock it up. Nothing from ESPN, ESPN.com, NBA.com, twitter. Not sure about NBATV
