Ok, Just did the recon spot thing....and leveled up twice because of it.....I was a spotting fool and my team was owning. DD
man, this is getting frustrating. the server disconnects me every 3 games or so. they need to fix that ****.
Gameplay wise it is not even close....Bad Company 2 is the best FPS to come out with cool game play in years. Destructible buildings, trees, driveable vehicles.... This game is just awesome ! DD
ok, now i cant even connect. screw this. as much as i hate it, im going back to mw2 until ea fix their servers.
Thinking of getting it, but asking for specification requirements. Not much of a computer expert, but will an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 at 2.5 Gigahertz with a video card of NVIDIA Geforce 8600 and 4 GB of ram run the thing? Rep given to response. < Good. >
your PC meets the minimum specs. which means you could run it on low settings with 30-40 frames per second.
should work, i can play it on my laptop with a comparable card and less ram and slower proc at 1280*800 on all medium.
thats true. mw2 was fun at the beginning but after prestiging, it goes downhill from there. i can see me playing bc2 for much longer, like how i did with bf2. if only ea just fix their servers.
So there was a period for me of about 15 minutes of not being able to log in. Now every time I log in it asks me for my VIP code... which I already entered and it accepted. Now when I enter it again, it won't take it. Yeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh... methinks I will call EA when the store is finally up.
My code has never been accepted...I try about every 3 times I log on and it says that my code is invalid. Awesome.
Man, when you have a bad ass squad, the game becomes so much more enjoyable. Our squad was a medic, recon, and 2 assault guys...medic was constantly dishing out health kits, we were resupplying one another, etc... I was definitely the weak link on the team, but I havent had that much fun in a while. Good times. Although, I stopped playing for 30 min and when I got back on, I had a crappy squad during a rush game and those guys had no idea what the hell was going on. It was brutal and we didnt stand a chance. That was frustrating. All in all, great game. And the first player has been surprisingly enjoyable as well. Wasnt expecting that, but its been a pleasant surprise. Good stuff from DICE.
Dude... with you on that. I was in a situation yesterday where I was playing Rush as the Attackers on that desert map. I had two guys in my squad, both Recon (I was switching between Eng/Medic). We conquered the village and the area just past the bridge, and then MY SQUAD WOULD NOT ADVANCE. They just sat back in the village playing patty-cake with the defense, who rushed out to pick them off over and over. They wasted dozens of lives while being zero threat to the objectives, and of course we got reamed. I was soooooo mad... I wish there was friendly fire so I could knife the idiots in the back. Anyway, dumb squads aside, I'm actually surprised that on average I've tended to be the 2nd- or 3rd-best player on my team most of the time. After staying away from online multiplayer so long I'm surprised I'm not near the bottom.
We really should get some Clutch BBS games going. I know everyone is on different platforms, but there's bound to be enough on each to get a squad or two together. I'd love to play with some people who are looking to focus on the team strategy and just have fun while trying to learn more about the game (like flying a heli for example).
Looks like EA finally fixed their end of a lot of the problems. My friends list is working again, and I'm not having any server connection issues. Game is a blast, if u play it on PC, I highly recomend you try to get on the "Texas.....TeamPlayers" server. They have servers in many different games. But their bc2 server is great because it has really good squad based fighting, people are actually out to help their squads, and many times 2 squads or 8 peeps will be running around together in coordination.
