If you are on a 360, sometimes it can take about 10 minutes....just let it go eventually it will hook you up. DD
yeah i did that, and it says no games available. thats for all game modes. im in the uk, so it maybe different.
I have a Pentium 4....3ghz.... And only a video card with 128mg of ram. I think the video card is screwing me.... DD
Ya, that sucka needs to be replaced. My last system ran all the stuff fine, 4gb DDR2 Core2Duo E6400, but I just upgraded to an I-7 860, 4gb PC2000 DDR3. Althought I'm still using my older 8800's in SLI. Not going to waste any money upgrading those for another 6 months or so. Sold my old stuff for $200, nice to make some cash off it before it just gathers dust in a closet. Game is lots of fun. Sucks you have it but can't play it.
8800gts are good cards, and run about 80-100. Man, this is such a good game....suffering from such a bad launch. EA is sucking big time....
Played all day on PS3 (PSN: Drex2234). Haven't had this much fun with online gaming since Quake 2. Just unlocked M95 Sniper. God bless stupidly overpowered guns.
By the by, does anyone else find it annoying that so few people bother spotting? Particularly snipers, whose nominal job it is to spot? I feel like I HAVE to play Recon sometimes, because if I don't, no one on the team will spot...
I spot, but I hate the button you have to use on the 360 to do it. Not convenient. I need to get a new video card though....I WANT TO PLAY it on PC...dang it. DD
i agree. i spot all the time, sometimes even when the guy is right in front of me lol. and i also hate it when i get sniped, and have no idea where they are. anyway, multiplayer reminds me of a mix of bf2 and bf2142. enjoying it so far. but i really suck at rush, but doing well in conquest. need the learn the maps better.
Even spotting guys right in front of you can be good... if you lose the firefight, you've got a fair chance a teammate will finish it for you. It calls snipers' attention to the guy if nothing else so they can KEEP him spotted. I started out playing Conquest myself, but I've found I enjoy Rush more, at least as Recon. Rush is pretty Recon-friendly because you can sit in one general area and know where to expect most of the enemies, whereas Conquest is more assault-friendly because you need your head on a swivel.
ya, I played rush last night for the first time since the beta. IT was fun, some desert map with a big bridge going over the edge of the ocean / river. Pretty fun. One thing about this game, the visuals in the distance are breathtaking. I almost find my self ignoring the fight for a min or so just to soak in the beauty of the map. I want the M95 so bad, I just haven't been playing much sniper. Mostly Medic....might be from my previous profession. M60 is pretty damn good too. So that doesn't hurt. Looking forward to some games later today after work. EA's servers were messed up when I tried to get a couple of games in last night. Could connect, but EA was down so you couldn't use your unlocks. Blah.
