LOL...where have you been. Played the Beta on PC for a few weeks, it was awesome. 81% DL lol. Nearly done, 1.5mb/s can't take too much longer.
Eh, part of me wants to buy it, but I feel like Im getting more than enough value out of MW2...another war game isnt really appealing.
you should see the reviews. Also, if you're worried about enough people online to play... well, I don't think that's going to be a problem.
I'm not worried about that, I was just pointing out that with as many people that are playing MF2, there is a greater chance of people cheating. I just don't like the Battlefield series. They all seem the same to me. I saw the reviews, but I already have a FPS that is occupying much of my time. I don't like having too many games at the same time that are similar in game type.
UPS dropped off my game today and I already installed it. I added the game to Steam so we can get together if you want. I'm on the Clutchfans group and my Steam name at the moment is -|GriMReapeR|-. Steam is acting weird at the moment and not letting me log in, so I'm not online right now. Bad Company 2 name is hkEvo if you want to add me to your friends list.
ah. I was just referring to where you felt the online play was average, when most reviews were saying it's MW2 and more. Yeah though, there will be cheating in this just like everything else eventually.
Man, EA ...blah Server crashes are becoming quite the norm for release dates now. Guess, I"ll pick this up on the weekend. Got to study for a mid term tomorrow.
Alright, Ive been following a few people on twitter that are hard core gamers, Ive read tons of reviews, visited message boards...and the one thing I can say is that I am getting convinced to buy this game. I played about half an hour of MW2 today and I just got bored and turned it off...I feel like I really dont have much else to accomplish in that game. Sooooo, thinking about BFBC 2...never played the first one though. I need some help people...talk to me about the game, positives, negatives, etc... I dont care much for the single player campaign, but its the multiplayer that matters to me.
The fact that you can destroy buildings and trees is what makes it fun for me. I got a stand up machine gun and mowed down the trees for about 50 yards in front of me to give me a clear kill zone...it was awesome. DD
Yeah, being able to destroy the environment around you is pretty appealing, I must say. Definitely adds a new dimension to the gameplay.
I am kind of like you never played the first one but started to get bored of MW2. I bought the game yesterday and have enjoyed it quite a bit so far. The maps I believe are better, the graphics I think are better on MW2. There seems to be a lot less camping since you only get upgrades by moving around and killing people. I like having the ability to point out and locate enemy players by hitting select once you have spotted them. I still have a lot to work to develop upgrades on guns. It is fun using tanks, uav's, and copters but controlling the helicopters are tough. I believe it is game worth getting if you like war games and getting sick of mw2. As for the guns I personally like MW2.
Thank god the servers are back up. This game is great, as stated by others, because of the desctructible environment. No longer, do you know where an enemy is from UAV and have to go around a wall and through a door way where he's facing (camping) waiting for you. You can just throw some c4 on the wall, blow open your own entrance....[ Freaking LOVE it! Great game!
Bought the game today...having a good time with it. Definitely need to get some experience before I know whats going on, haha. As far as MP is concerned, the experience is definitely more realistic feeling than MW2. Playing as a medic so far...been fun.
Oh for the guys who have this on Xbox, lets do some squad action here. GT: G S0 FLY ... The 0 is a Zero not the letter. Hit me up and we can play some I am on often and could always use more peeps in our group.
Very fun game. A nice change of pace and style from MW2... there's room for both games and I love both.
