Why not suit up Machado and have Greg Smith (injured), D-Mo & White / Cook on the inactive list? They're not playing anyway.
Let Lin come off the bench, problem solved:grin: In all seriousness, I'm glad that a lot of people have accepted that Lin is our starting PG. Before the season started, people are saying that Lin is a back up PG at best, or Livingston is better, or that we should start Machado. Hopefully Lin will continue to get back into form and get more fans on his side and look pass his skin colour. Speaking of Machado, he's a great passer but a great passer is not what we were missing in the last two games. Great passes don't matter if the recipient couldn't finish.
We're already doing that. He's gonna need a whole set of tires and a new motor by the 15th game at the rate we're using him.
McHale has to get creative with the minute allocations/rotations so that either Lin or Harden are on the floor. There was the Detroit game where Lin got in foul trouble and he pulled Harden too for no apparent reason. The offense stalled and he put Harden back in.
The not apparent reason was too much playing time. Harden ended up with only 4 minutes rest as it was!
Douglas actually played a very good defensive game last night but he still hasn't got his shot back for some reason.
The issue with having either only Lin or Harden out there by themselves is that it makes it a lot easier for teams to defend. The threat of having both players out there is to keep the defense honest.
Tony is a bomb waiting to explode, Machado won't even have a chance to play until next year since Mchale's been so fond of veterans, take a look at T Jones. By the way, why the hell did u waive Livingston?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toney_Douglas Guys check out his stats from last year they are horrendous. The 1st 2 seasons with the Knicks he played pretty well. 09-10: .458 FG, .389 3pt 10-11: .416 FG, .373 3pt 11-12: .324 FG, .231 3pt Ever since his surgery he hasn't been the same player, this year he's even worse.
