Why not the Rockets? Why not the Rockets always play as a money saver? We should try to chase some large fish as we did with Orlando, Bosh shouldn't be our limitation, why not we get both bosh and lebron?money?who cares?we are doing some business,NBA is a business, put more then get more.DO LOOKING FOR SOME HOTMONEY FROM CHINA!!

    True.

The last thing I want to see is Shaq shooting free throws for the Rockets. At least it's fun to watch Chuck shoot them because you never know what you're going to get.

David Lee will demand a salary which will disallow him to be a backup.

Have you seen him play? He's a starter.

    Cole Aldrich

I think he's a sure thing. He can step right in and be a great rebounder, defender, and shot blocker. He has limited upside offensively, but we don't need offense. Morey might have to trade up to get him, but I think he's worth it.

    1. Draft a big.
    2. Sign a big.
    3. If Yao isn't making progress by the deadline, trade for a big.

I even have this wild idea that the Rockets should acquire an extra pick and draft two seven footers.

Shaq would be the last option if we're not able to get someone better like Brad Miller. It's actually not bad to have Shaq because i know he will be motivated to play better backing up Yao.

Jeff Foster all the way... plus he is a Texas State University Alumni... but seriously... the guy can defend the post very well, rebound, very affordable, and could start for the first few weeks in the season if Yao is still working his way back in.

but SHAQ!!!... hell no.... declining at a rapid rate, his desire to win seems to be declining just as fast, collects a huge paycheck just because of his resume, ego bigger than his gut, and worst pick and roll defender the game has ever seen.

    I like your thinking...

He is ready to contribute immediately.

I know we need defense, but i would not mind trading up for Monroe as well...

Brendan Haywood would be perfect. Excellent shot-blocker

Shaq's ego couldn't even accept a secondary role behind the leagues best player in Lebron, what makes you think here and will accept backing up Yao?

Man, I would love to have this guy. He'd be a great fit. Especially against LA. Perfect backup in my opinion. I'm not sure we need Bosh. Both Hill & Haywood are capable backups in the post
