Are we talking about the same thing? I'm referring to muscle spasms, and heat, stretching, and massage definitely help the muscles relax.

I also have arthritis, for which ice is helpful.

It depends on which condition is flaring up. If it's both, then I'll alternate ice and heat.

Anyone know of a massage place?

Not talking about happy endings either. Like a legit one. I think i'm going to head to the mall Friday afternoon if I can't get a good response.

Make an appt with a girl named Jessica. She's awesome. I'll be following her when she graduates.

    Yeah. It's only $30/hour, too.

She'll double that at least when she graduates. Most masseuses charge in the $60-$70/hour range. But she's worth it imo, especially if you have chronic back issues like I do.

I don't have any chronic issues. I just went Extreme weekend warrior on Tuesday evening. Just trying to hurry up the recovery process. It's a pain in the ass getting out of bed, sitting in chairs, stuff like that.

Good, then. It's worth it for me....kind of like keeping the same doctor who is both good and knows what your issues are.

Not a good one at the moment. Like I said, I have chronic conditions....but they're currently exacerbated by being bent over books and my computer studying. It wasn't as bad when I was able to get regular exercise.

A new mattress will be one of my first major purchases here before long.

Yeah, chow should really get this checked out. What could be something relatively minor (not that this ever feels minor) could morph into pure long term Hell if neglected and/or misdiagnosed. Even worse, the OP could find himself with two titanium screws in his back and a failed operation. Oh, sorry... that would describe my experience.

    Go see a doctor.
