oh, I don't know... I've seen east-asian girls look just as lovely first thing the morning... barely awake... make-up free... and hair disheveled... in completely broad and bright daylight...
I don't know about ANY woman, but I agree with your general point: just about everybody can look pretty awful, given the right circumstances. Too much light (especially florescent light) can make you look sickly, even if you're feeling fine.
