Signing Miller kind of reminds me of the Brent Barry signing. how he was expected to bring that veteran leadership and shooting to ultimately play a some what big part to the team as a back-up, but never got a rhythm to play well. He played one season then retired .

You didnt need to create a new thread. Your old thread was moved for a reason.

There simply doesnt need to be a new thread on it. Discuss it in the Brad Miller thread where everything Brad Miller goes.

I spoke to Carl Herrera and he informed me that Miller is the next black Chris Webber.

Well, Barry never really got into a rhythm because Wafer showed up and took over his job.
If Miller doesn't get playing time because Hill somehow develops into a legit C, I won't complain. But one should keep his options open.

We better hope not. He wont be playing Brent Barry like minutes. His minutes will almost be our starting centers minutes for a t leas the first couple of months probably if not split right down the middle with Yao completely.

Barry's failure to get into a rhythm resulted in increased minutes for Wafer.

    No, this will be different...honest

    I like your thinking though.

How about this: Houston Rockets - last stop before retirement

You guys have short memories. Brent Barry never found his rhythm here, but his brother Jon was even more beat up and not nearly the player Brent was, and he excelled under JVG at the end of his career here.

Lol I remember that summer league game this year and Webber told Kahn.. "please, don't mention Darko and me in the same breath" that was hilarious!!
