I think it is attempt to convince people that the things Obama is doing isn't a 180 degree turn from Bush. The thing is that almost every time basso tries that, he ends up being dead wrong. He was wrong when he claimed Obama wouldn't close Gitmo. He was wrong when he claimed Obama was going to keep Bush's policy on extradition. He was wrong when he claimed Obama was abandoning the victims of Katrina, and Bush's screw ups there. He was wrong when he tried to claim that Emmanuel was guilty of corruption because part of the problem solving involving the mortgage crisis also dealt with Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. He's wrong in his implied message behind this thread, and the images of stories he posted in this thread. He probably knows that since he didn't actually link any of them. He's had a lot of bad experiences making these claims and then having them blow up in his face. Just look at that pitiful list above. He also tends to ignore some of threads put up by rimrocker and others that show specific examples of how different Obama really is.
basso calls the nation's first African American Attorney general a coward, with absolutely no evidence or support to back up the claim.

I've been paying attention, but you haven't made a point. That's the whole idea here. You make the claim that he's a coward but haven't showed anything that would make sense as to why you make the claim. Spell it out, and say why he's a coward, or don't. Either way the fact that you haven't been able to make the case isn't because of anyone else's divided attention.
the point is, i'm NOT claiming holder's a coward. i'm referencing a statement Holder made the the US is a Nation of Cowards on issues of race. it's incredibly easy for Batman (to whom the original post was directed) to just cry "Racist!" towards something as a way of silencing debate, w/o actually examining whether the thing he's decrying is.actually.racist. you're doing the same thing, despite repeated examples in both threads. i have no idea whether Holder is a coward, but it's clear those of you crying "racist" in these threads, or the Post thread, are.
