he does have big ears. even that painting of him reduces the ear size. well not big ears they just stick out.
on the editorial, it doesn't have enough solid references to make a strong case. it agrees that bush makes the same argument that there is money unspent for Katrina right now but it doesn't say when all this fierce criticism of Bush came about for not allocating enough resources. was it before or after money was finally allocated to the gulf. it does specifically mention the Iraq spending bill, but it doesn't give any specific example.
I am kinda mad Texas didn't even get the same cash as NO for cleanup. We are footing the bill for cleanup from our hurricane.
actually, it comes from here. nothing ethnic about it- perhaps Holder is right, we're all racist cowards. [rquoter]Andrew Sullivan is right to observe here that "with each decision to cover for their predecessors, the Obamaites become retroactively complicit in [their deeds]." Retroactive complicity is an important, and underexamined, moral category. People cover up for others for many reasons, not all of them bad. But the longer and more involved the cover-up becomes, the more deeply implicated you get -- not only in the cover-up, but in the original misdeeds that you're concealing as well. Little by little, you come to own the deeds yourself. Or they own you. It's time to throw away the Ring, Frodo, before it hooks you and enslaves you.[/rquoter]
maybe if Obama had an actual 'Fro' it would make some kinda sense. ^^This.^^ I gave Bush 6 years before I turned against him, Basso, you can't give this guy 6 weeks? or 6 months?......meh.
just admit you were race baiting in your thread title.. if you really wanted to say frodo then you should have simply used in in your thread title but no, you wanted to race bait so you use b-fro
what do people first see? thread title or op? you always point to your op so why did you have to alter the title to be different from the op?
Basso just wanted to highlight that he actually provided his own extensive analysis on the subject in his original post instead of posting yet another article without any commentary, as the haters would have you believe he does.
So, one can only surmise by your reference to this that you think the Bush administration was corrupted by power and committed misdeeds and Obama is in danger of following the same path. Do tell, what do you think the Bush administration did that was so wrong?
weslinder to Ray Nagin: Even if Obama makes you mad, please don't take it out on the Democrats. We'd rather that you didn't come back to the Republicans. (Yes, I am the official GOP gatekeeper.)
