b**** at the store cuts in line than accusesmme of cutting

    Today I was in line at the store when I stepped aside for a brief moment to look at some coffee they had on the rack next to the line. I took two steps to the right but was still in line. i noticed the lady behind me took that opportunity to sneak up and get in front of me. I said nothing but got my place back in front of her. She then creeped right beside me and waited. At this point every time the line moved she tried to beat me in taking steps forward. Eventually she called me out and told me that i was trying to cut in line. I told her she was wrong but she can go ahead BC I it wasn't worth the hassle of arguing with her about it.

    What would you have done? I can't believe there are people out there that are willing to go to these extremes to cut in line.

    You did the right thing. Its just one spot in the line. Not a big deal, and if she wants it that bad then give it to her.

    Marshalls, they have stuff on the racks for you to look at while your in line. The line is like an S so there is not much space to go off exploring and is designed to be single file.

    It's pretty obvious that she thought you had left the line when you took "two steps to the right" to look at the coffee, and she thought that you were cutting in front of her after she filled in the space in the line. Your lack of communicating with her that you were actually still in line compounded the problem.
