I'm not up on what the Quran or New Testament say regarding Jews but from what I know of history is that Jews have been persecuted much more by Christians than by Muslims over the time that all three religions have existed. I may be wrong on this but to my knowledge there hasn't been the equivalent of an Inquisition in Islam or as many massacres and pogroms of Jews in Islamic lands as compared to in Christian Europe.

i understand. i don't know if that's right or not.

what i'm saying is that i have a hard time calling those folks Christians...or calling that mindset, Christianity. because it couldn't be farther from the teachings of Jesus Christ.

does anyone else find humor in the fact that one book the qu'ran and the other the bible have a whole different story for jesus. meaning that one or the other has something wrong in it. meaning that there could be all kinds of things wrong in either/or book. humanity cracks me up.

your born your parents are one religion. so most people then pick up that religion decide that its right and all others are wrong. and most of those people make no effort in trying to learn anything about any of the others. good times.

That's why they would be considered different religions. For instance frequent topic of debate here is how does the New Testament address the Old Testament and many have pointed out that the New Testament elaborates and even improves on the Old Testament obviously Jews wouldn't see it that way but that's part of what separates the religions. For that matter the Book of Mormon is an elaboration on the New Testament. Many Christians don't see it that way and don't consider LDS Christianity.

either book meaning the qu'ran or book of mormon? or do you mean the bible as well?

it may be time for a history lesson... the bible is NOT an infallible book christian or no christian.

what is the true definition of a christian?

should a book make the difference if one believes in Christ and knows that only through His atonement can one be saved? if you believe that then it doesn't matter what book you read. that makes you a christian.
