I said it before and I'll say it again. Here is your ticket to getting capspace for Lebron.

Let Tmac and J'Oneal expire and you have over 40 million to resign Landry, Scola, Lowry and STILL have plenty to pick Lebron and another possible star player. On top of that you can still deal some pieces like Dorsey, Anderson, and Taylor if need be.

Why would Lebron come here without Yao?

    3 page of yapping.
Will we have cap room for LBJ?
Tmac's money to land LBJ. If Morey can pull it off, I'll give him Nobel prize for peace.

Read again...We can sign another star player. Also, look at how much success we have with our current lineup. Now, add Lebron to everything we currently have and imagine that.

I'm afraid the injury history of Yao will make him sound like Big-Z to Lebron, and he will prefer to go elsewhere even if he takes less money to come here.

Avery just said Landry can be a legitimate 6th man of the year contender this season. What position is he trying to get with us through all this Rocket love?

Yea, Houston does not have the high volume of baby powder needed to satisfy Lebron for a whole season compared to other Johnson and Johnson-rich cities such as Cleveland and New York...

It's not likely, and honestly, I wouldn't want Lebron on this team.

Of course I want us to win, but I'd prefer a guy like D-Wade or someone else to take us there.

If the Heat decline that trade it'd be awfully dumb of them.

If i'm the Rox I wouldn't make that deal either.

Yao Ming for Oneal just for a shot...a tiny chance at Lebron?

Wouldn't that make the Rockets the Most Marketable NBA Franchise?

Even if Yao had accomplished 1/2 of what he has so far as a Rocket and with his injury history, there will always be the Incredible Amount of New and Long Term Asian Rockets (NBA) fans because of Yao and his background (Heck, he was the initial reason why I got RED and over the past 7 years, I have developed from a Yao-First fan into a ROX-First fan :)

I wonder if there are any other International Professional Sports Players aside from Yao who have bridged over so many Millions of fans to another professional league such as the NBA.

Unfortunately, the Rockets have NOT won a championship with Yao or TMAC but that is still one Intelligent Business Plan!

On a side note, I've always liked the way "NBA Champion" AJ played the game and he has also proved that he can be a Great Coach, so I like this thread
