Insinuating I'm a hater when I haven't dissed Austin at all is real classy. In fact I don't think anyone in this thread has slammed either city except for you. Why are you so obsessed in thinkin Austin is so superior to Houston. It's really apples and oranges man, one's a small city the other a major metropolitan complex. I only bring up Roger Clemens because he is a champion that's from Houston. So what if he won them for another team. Lance Armstrong is a champion too, but he didn't anything for Austin. But when I think of champion athletes Austin has produced, I think of Lance, just like Clemens, or even Dream (who didn't get his bball start until joining the Cougs). And you may think the Astros not winning the NLCS means anything, but there a lot of people that would disagree with you. This isn't basketball or football here. Winning your leage championship is an accomplishment in its own right considering how insanely difficicult it is to even make it to the postseason. But you're entitled to your opinion. And I mine, and I will certainly bring up the Astros each and every time we discuss champions because they are. I also find it funny that you didn't bring up Rice at all. I guess because nothing at all can desupte the fact that they were '03 champions. And I just dropped a FEW examples of champions in and from Houston, I can think of more too. Man this thread has really gone sour. Some people prefer Austin. Some Houston. Some even SA or Dallas (absurd as it may be! ).
