I've only gotten to see a handful of games this year, since I moved to Austin. I'm in.

they have 32 HDs and they always show any texas team. i'm sure UFC will be on too, but i'm pretty sure it will be packed with rockets fans.

I'm down- I just need the specific time and place once the schedule comes out for the playoffs. (all but for Game 1 that is... seeing as I'll be in the TC  )

3rd Base Sport Bar has 2 HDTVs in the men's room.

    Nice.

And as far as parking, the restaurant is in a parking garage, in which you can pay to park. You can also park for free on the south side of 5th street, then walk over 5th street on the pedestrian bridge. It takes you right to it.

there are a couple of coin op tables and there is a free shuffleboard. I think the shuffleboard is a short table though.

Third base is cool, but their choice of location for it ....just sucks...there is nothing else around it....essentially it is in the bottom of a parking garage.

    But the buildout is sweet.

I might be able to meander over.

So let's make this official...is a poll an option this far into a thread or does it have to be created in the initial post? So far the options are...

    1. Ringers
    2. Tavern
    3. 3rd Base

I prefer choice 2., but in the end, I'll go wherever the Rockets have the best representation.

Third base is the best place to watch it ...so I vote 3.

I'm going to Houston this weekend to catch Game 1, but I'll be at 3rd Base for Game 2.
