Austin Rivers has a real good friend name Trevor Lacey I use to play ball with him back in Middle School. Trevor played AAU with Austin on the team where Austin is wearing red jersey and shorts with green shoes. Trevor was the MVP of that championship team. He plays shooting guard for Butler High School and at one point this year was leading the nation in scoring with 43 ppg. He eclisped the 40 point mark i think about 10 times this year. He's contemplating going to either Kentucky or Alabama (expected to be 1 and done) right now but I believe he's going to Kentucky. Some analysts say he might be the best to ever come out of the state of Alabama since he's won 3 high school championships as the anchor of his team(would have been 4 if he didnt get hurt his junior year) and has 2 Mr. Basketball awards. Take a look at him.
I'm sorry but I hate Georgetown because they don't accept white players. It's well documented that John Thompson refused to recruit white players throughout the 80's and 90's, as he wanted to keep "our program" for "our people."
Players with basketball roots always seem to have a great feel for the game and great IQ This guy's IQ looks off the charts .. I hope he's not a one and done hopefully Doc will force him to stay an extra year
I think he's said even before he committed that his plan was to stay only one year. The guy's talent is just too much to stick in the NCAA's long, unless he struggles that is. He's one of the few people harmed by the 19yo rule (I would say there's nobody from this year's freshman class that did not benefit by going to school instead of declaring).
