This list should be called the Most Drunks Who Have The Most Consequences list. If its about % city population that gets way drunk the most often, it'd be a way different list.

 

I resemble that statistic.

Brother, I lived in Austin for 10 years, and spent an ungodly number of nights on 6th, warehouse, and W. 6th. Trust me, New Orleans is on another level. No open container law, and bars don't close at 2AM. And the Grenades...

 

My first thought is how on earth Northeastern locales known for drunken businessmen losing their shirts in stock collapses and regions known for beer drinkers could possibly be among the most sober. Then Baqui99 posted that snippet. How can they actually publish "stats" like this with DUI's being among the indicators?
