I wish! Except I would have been driving a "silver smoke gray" 1965 Mustang Fastback with a 289 and a red interior, like the image below, except it had stock wheels. How I wish I still had it.
No doubt. When I was 14 my dad traded a sweet Olds 442 (orange with white stripes) for a turd brown ford LTD trying to make his new wife happy. (spoiler: she never was). I'd love to have that car today.
My uncle had this car and drove it until the wheels fell off in the late 70s. Even as a little kid I understood how cool it was.
I bought my mom a 64.5 Mustang convertible back in 2002, shop find that only has 60k original miles and all numbers matching. She passed away in 2020, my brothers and I are doing bottom up restoration currently. Fun little project
