I second that Childish Gambino was laughably bad. His stand-up earlier in the day was only marginally better.

Idk man I like him on Community but to me he sounds awful. He sounds like a whiter Drake without hip-hop beats. To each is own I guess.

Today was ****ing incredible. Besides meeting Domo from Odd Future just saw tons of bands but nothing compares to seeing Brian Posehn and having him open for Slayer. **** Danzig, Slayer Rules All. That was the craziest pit I've ever been in and to keep going for an hour and like 40 minutes was incredible. So many people crowd surfering....it was nuts. The greatest thing though was after they played "Angel of Death" Kerry King through three picks out in the crowd, and when it hit the light I could see it falling and it landed directly at me. The perfect ending to an awesome show.

How did he sound. Wanted to see them but I had never seen Slayer before and I was not going to miss them. Also did they only play Tyler's songs or did they play the other members stuff too. Would be cool to see them play Domo's song Shine. That beat is sick.

Ted Leo ends his set dressed as Danzig and does 4 Misfits covers.

    The guy is f.ucking incredible.

I saw some review/rundown of the show, it looked somewhat... lowkey?

Yes. Don't forget Primus was there.

Thought I had one that said "That's the Flav" on it too, but can't find that one.

That was such a great festival. Liked it way better then ACL. It was more my crowd and also the acts where more oriented to my taste. Sure there were stupid hipsters but there was also tons of punks and metal heads so it balanced very nicely. Still pumped from Slayer. Will definitely be getting the early bird which will probably go on sale within the next couple of weeks. Also just want to show this. There are very few things that have made me turn into a child. In that I no longer can hold my composure and become this....

Seeing Kiss front row, meeting Hakeem, and this pick. I've kept pulling it out of my pocket the whole day and just staring at it.

So great (besides Danzig). Got there at like 4:30 Friday. Watched the Thermals for a bit, they were a bit boring, so I went to Ty Segall, who was awesome. Then Thee Oh Sees who were fantastic, Okkervil River who was one of my favorites of the fest, and then watched Murder City Devils from afar, wasn't really digging it. Then the whole Danzig fiasco....it was awful.

Saturday started with Purity Ring, who were FANTASTIC. I can not wait to hear more from them. Loved it so much. Then onto BLACKIE, who was fun. And then the Joy Formidable, who killed it. After that I saw Donald Glover's stand-up which I thought was hilarious, then met him at the Waterloo tent (didn't see his rapping though). Saw Ra Ra Riot from afar, it seemed a lot more slowed down than when I saw them about a year ago, which I didn't like. M83 was fantastic, Girls were great, Lykke Li sounded good though I was holding my spot for Spoon, and Spoon was everything I was hoping for, loved them.

On Sunday, started with Nobunny, who killed it. Spent a lot of time in the comedy tent this day, enjoyed most of that. Probably my favorite moment of the whole fest was when Ted Leo did the Misfits songs, specially "Skulls". So much fun, nearly made up for the Danzig stuff. Architecture in Helsinki was fun, big dance party. Hum sounded so good. Brian Posehn was a bit hit or miss but he made me laugh. then Slayer was just....Slayer. I'd never experienced something like that before, and don't know if I ever will again. It was awesome. Still have aches and bruises from it.

My friends were at Odd Future, and it sounds like the crowd was awful. Glad I skipped them, even though I really wanted to see them beforehand.

Favorite sets were Spoon, SLAYER, Nobunny, Okkervil River, Purity Ring, Ty Segall, and Ted Leo.
