I really want to go on Friday to see Phoenix. They NEVER come around these parts. Woe is me, being a working college student. I don't know if i can shell out 135ish for a Friday pass.
Wait as long as you can and keep checking craigslist and the such. Also, you might try just showing up at Zilker on Friday. There's always people trying to get rid of tickets down there. You might be able to get a better deal from someone just trying to get some extra beer money for the day.
Just got tix to the sold out Grizzly Bear after show on Saturday. Now I just gotta find a place to stay.
Finally got my ticket without paying an arm and a leg. I'm ready, even though the weather looks to be ****ty.....nothing beer and live music can't fix!
I know...just going off the 10-day forcast. I like my ACL to be hot, so I can cool down with more beer and the women can wear less
I'll actually drink more if it's cooler. When it's as hot as it's been, the beer just ends up dragging me down. If it's nice, I'll tend to drink more and have more energy for the whole thing. I'm getting more and more geeked by the day.
if it's cooler that's all the more reason to sneak in a bottle of makers to keep warm... it goes great with sweet leaf.
As of right this moment, weather.com predicts a high of 86 w/ a 60% chance of rain for Friday. They have Saturday as sunny and 84. If it rains on the first day, you can kiss that nice new sod goodbye.
