Been following them all year, go to their games at House Park here in Austin, and they just won the Semi-final of the PDL 1-0, to reach the final on Sunday at 7:30 against the Thunder Bay Chill.

Suprisingly the soccer is good, and the play is enjoyable. $10 for adults and free for kids 10 and under.

    www.austinaztex.com is their website.

Going to the finals baby !!

AZTEX WIN 3-1, what a great night of soccer.

The Chill scored in the first minute leaving the Aztex down 1-0, but they quickly countered, and when their goalie took down our best player in the box, it was a PK and a straight red for them.

All Aztex the rest of the way.

    PDL NATIONAL CHAMPS !!!

And over 4,200+ people there at House park, and that is not counting kids 10 and under...so probably over 5k total for a minor league soccer championship game.

Yes, soccer is growing STRONG in the USA !

If a minor league soccer team wins a national championship and falls in the forest will anyone hear?

    Congrats to the Aztex.

I think the Dynamo should use Austin as their minor league affiliate just like the Rockets with Rio Grande Valley and the Astros with Corpus Christi. Plus, it's closer only a 4-hour drive between Houston and Austin.

That is not how it works Beavis, teams are independent and players get drafted by the MLS etc.

Kris Trypek will surely be drafted he is an amazing player.
