So who was the Number 1 player that year then? Sengün? If that Number 1 player struggles within a team concept right now, you can be sure it means nothing on a losing team. You could say the same about Jalen Green, he had exactly similar numbers to be the 2nd best player. I can tell you that Eric Gordon was the second best player for half a season because he won the Rockets 2-3 games by himself easily.
It was Sengun, he was the best overall player due to his decent performance on both sides of the ball. That's not to say he was perfect on either side of the ball, certainly his struggles have been pointed out, but when taken as a whole, his positives outweighed the negatives on both ends.....unlike most players on the team. Jabari was bad on both ends, Jalen was an abomination defensively. That's why they were down near the bottom when it comes to performance.
We gotta figure out how to get Ausar on this team before they both head to a team with enough cap space
Unsurprisingly you are again being dishonest. KPJ was further along at 20 than James Harden was....that's just a fact, but it's not saying that KPJ was going to be "better than Harden" At the time I said it, you absolutely would have wanted to build around KPJ....he was by far the best guard on the team and the second best overall player....then off ball nonsense happened that ruined his career, that doesn't change the fact that from a talent standpoint, he's EXACTLY the kind of guy teams would want to build around.....also, note that their attempt to fill the hole left by KPJ was with a max player....so yeah. Basically you are taking basketball arguments and attempting to counter them with off court **** that happened later that have nothing to do with basketball whatsoever. Again, I get it, you feel like you have to be a dishonest person, it's what I expect from you at this point.
In reality I didn't bring up Peon's off court incidents and at no point has Peon ever been better at basketball than James Harden. Not at 20. Not at 19. Not ever.
Like I said Amen is more gifted but Ausar has that mamba mentality. It'll be interesting to see who becomes the best twin but so far they look like future superstars to me.
LOL, I get that on top of being a fundamentally dishonest person you are also basing your opinion on some weird emotional nonsense, so there's no point in trying to have a rational conversation with you on the subject. This bad faith BS only ends conversations kiddo.
Stone’s made so many mistakes no need to hang the Amen vs Ausar thing on him. So much more low hanging fruit.
I think my issue is more that Amen doesn't look competent even doing something as simple as dribbling a basketball. He's basically the definition of a raw athlete trying to play basketball. I don't personally care which player is better between the twins, I just want Amen to not suck. He deserves some time to learn how to play basketball before giving up hope, but it looks really rough right now.
