When I retired from practicing medicine, the doctor that took over my practice whom I mentored since his college days is black. 1/3 of my staff were black. What have you done for black people again?
I was in my 20's driving in Vegas with a buddy and we got our identity mistaken for some vehicle involved in a drive-by shooting. We were followed by a helicopter and at least 5 cop cars that finally lit their lights when I turned into a BK wondering what the heck was going on. We had at least 10 guns drawn on us and a cop did an unnecessary role over the top of his hood because he thought we got the drop and angle on him, about to open fire with our souvenir mugs, smh. We were told to get out of the car, hands up, walk backwards and kneel. Never had to lay face down on the ground during the entire ordeal. We even took a picture with them and I posted the story later that summer here on this BBS like in 2002 or 2003. Just wanted to make the point that for an extended period, they thought we were armed and dangerous and coming from a shootout. Didn't have to lay down. We also aren't black.
I did ask when he called me a racist in another thread and his answer was some kind of donations that he has made. Lol. I know his types quite well from past dealings. Do you remember the story involves Dikembe Mutombo a few years back? Deke, bless his heart a wonderful human being. He’s building hospitals in his native Congo, he solicits helps and fundings from his rich NBA peeps and nobody lifted a finger to help him. Why would I have any problem with interracial relationships? This is America, we are all mixed in some capacity. FYI- The black doctor who took over my practice happened to be a very gifted surgeon in his own rights. As for sounding like Trump, you have to be extremely dense not to notice the things that Trump had done for blacks. Did Obama ever give a crap about his own people except switching to a different cadence when addressing a black crowd. Black people cannot survive on speeches and promises alone you know? The sad thing is none of what being tossed back and forth here really matters in about 20 years.
