August Video Game Preview Thread

How far did you get with The Witcher? I think I remember you saying that you couldn't get into it. I recently started playing it, and I actually felt the same way. Took up until maybe Chapter 2 or so before I started to really enjoy it. Maybe still a slight disappointment so far (I had high expectations), but there's still lots of gameplay left I think. Seems like the overall story has been sort of "hidden" too. Or at least I hope so...kind of uninteresting so far.

Since I missed out on some older RPGs (Fallout, Baldur's Gate, etc), I actually have quite a backlog of decent RPGs to play through. Plus the next King's Bounty, whenever that comes out (technically a strategy RPG though I guess).
