[Audio] Rick Adelman not thrilled with how T-Mac handled it

For all we know it could've been SAS completely taking McGrady out of context. Perhaps T-Mac meant to tell him exactly what he told us at halftime in the Kings game - that micro was just the last resort, and that he was optimistic he would come back.

It doesn't matter anymore though. The damage has been done. Who knows how much of it is repairable. Maybe this is what would motivate the Rockets to get rid of his contract. Of course, this would be ironic for many that think T-Mac's whole purpose of announcing this was to avoid a trade in the first place.

 

Hey Clutch, would you be surprised if Tmac ends up reneging and actually playing out the season? Something fishy is going on here...

Well, I'm done with Tracy. I stayed on his bandwagon for a long time, but this just sucks.

 

No one is complaining in this thread that he's injured.

 

As far as I recall, Andrews had said it was always a distant option, Tmac always exagerates and then when it was confirmed by the new machine, he had his "AHA" moment and released it to the press.

This is just what a guy who is worried too much about what others think does...and is tired of taking the criticism.

The sad thing is that Tmac brings it all on himself because he is too dense to figure out that what he says and how he says it is the biggest part of the problem.

Yeah but T-mac also announced on his own website that he was out for the season but yet he hasn't talked to Adelman. T-mac is wrong in this case. I can't defend him for this. He has to make better decision but I think it is pretty obvious that he really doesn't care what people think about him.

That can be a good thing but also a bad thing.

In this case it was a bad decision by Tracy.

 

Yep, it would be a comedy of errors on the Rocket's medical staff's fault, and probably why he did it this way......

So NBA.COM is already posting this story as if it is indeed the case. Yet we're still waiting to hear from the Rockets organization for confirmation and closure on this subject?
