    T-Mac should still tell his own coaches and medical staff first before proclaiming to the media that he needs surgery.

    say McGrady is lying about this microfracture business, then what possible recourse would he realistically have?

    It is kind of a big deal, considering he's been saying all along he wasn't feeling right. I don't agree with the way he did but it would explain his level of frustration.

    I agree with you it is his situation.

    But he handled this situation in the worse way. I don't know if he thought Stephen A. Smith would keep his mouth shut but either way he should of let the organization know before he let any journalist know.

    It's funny how you guys think it's going to be so ironic and a major shot to T-Mac if we get out of the 2nd round. You think he really cares? This team was supposed to go a little farther than just the 2nd round this year because of the talent we got around him.

    This is the first time since Moses that I absolutely want someone off the team.

    And that is a crappy feeling. :(

    New, upgraded MRI machine ... so did T-Mac have one of those in his head after telling Channel 2 the (old) MRI revealed missing cartilage in his left knee and he could require microfracture surgery?

    Of course he should have.

    But I can certainly understand why he did it better if:

    1. they've been telling him over and over again he's fine and doesn't need surgery;

    2. he's been in pain;

    3. they haven't run the full gamut of tests necessary to know better;

    4. he's been portrayed as a liar and a wuss in the media because of it; and

    5. he gets actual evidence from one of the tests the rockets staff hasn't run that indicates he needs the surgery.

    I would hope he'd still talk to them first...but I can understand why he wouldn't if this is what happened.

    I don't care if Tmac comes back to houston one day and launches 60 against us...

    he is too inconsistent and mentally weak to lead us to a championship..

    now if he wants to shut up and start playing the role of a super role player... then come back and talk to us.. otherwise.. PEACE!

    I don't understand this, it was a dark day for this franchise when Moses Malone was traded away.

    Of course, I said thats Tmac fault, and I understand Adelman's disappointment (and Morey's as well).
