Finally some balls out of Adelman (it's about time), he's been Tmac's b**** most of the season.

even kobe would tell his coach if hes injured or something... who the hell does tmac think he is???
look, i dont know what you guys think of rick adelman, but im just glad we could have him, i mean, we still get to be a 2nd round contender with so many no shows from tmac and artest
well, but i love artest, hes alwayz playing with heart and well,,, i love him
yaos alwayz been superb, seriously, but he would beat the crap out every other center if he manage to cut down on turnovers
    luis scola is definitely underrated,
alston, ahhh, when tmacs out on court, rafers got too much pressure, but whens tmac is out, and he get to play the way he likes it, hes full of energy
battier, i dont know if hes defense end is as good as advertised, but if he starts to get his shooting percentage back, he definitely fits in adelmans system
wafers got huge potential, he missed a couple of nice layups, he just needs time to gain more experience

and, i would rather trade tmac for a mediocore power forword, and that helps yao on rebound

If you get injured in your job, boss can't force you to keep working only because he's paying you... Grow up.

Right?? Where am I? if that's accurate it would certainly give rise to frustration on T-Mac's part. I realize that opinion isn't very popular here right now, though.

This whole thing officially put me at the point where I don't care what McGrady does from here. He could come back with a vengeance next year and average 30 per, and I honestly won't care. I can't cheer for the guy no matter what he does. He's shown what he's really all about.

He feels he's bigger than the team. That what matters to him is more important than what happens to the team. **** him, I'm ready to move on even if we get next-to-nothing for him.

It's really sad. McGrady has some of the most talent I've ever seen in an NBA player. But he's so fragile mentally, and can't come to terms with the fact that his skills are declining. He keeps telling us, 'Just you wait, I'll be back, and you'll be sorry,' but he can't do it anymore. He can't accept any role but being the man.

McGrady is done. What a ****ing waste.

I completely agree with what Adelman said in this.

I don't doubt that this was the correct course of action. Personally, I feel that he could have just sat the year out, gone through rehab, and try to see how things go after that. If he feels that surgery is necessary, then who the hell are we to stop him?

But the way he handled this entire situation is complete crap. He could have at least talked with the Rockets about it. I understand that it is his life and he can make the decisions that he wants, but that doesn't mean he can just keep it from the team that he plays for. He handled this situation like a media-crazed baffoon, and for that, he's lost a little respect from me.

closure? lets wait for the rox to announce then maybe you can think about closure after spending days or weeks trying to figure out why the hell this took so long, if in fact all this is true

    I 100% agree.

Also it would explain his deciding to go ahead and announce it, as a "See I told you guys all along" type of moment.

To hell with McGrady. I can't wait to see the look on his face when the Rockets advance to the 2nd round without him. I also can't wait until next season when we trade his sorry ass and his $23 million expiring contract for some real players. I will make a trip back to Houston just to boo him if he ever suits up again.

But you need to tell boss you're gonna take a few days off right? Not sitting in your couch without letting your boss know the situation, come on

I think this whole thing shows how panic Tmac is right now. He doesn't really know how to do. He is on the edge of breakdown.

Where are those cute little fans that called everyone a bunch of haters for calling this selfish jerk out?

    WHERE ARE YOU GUYS NOW!!!!??

Talk about some pathetic fans trying to blast of on real passionate fans that want to win a championship again and don't like Tmac for his weaknesses.

I wish some of you Tmac apologists would MAN UP now and admit how wrong you guys were and apologize.

fair enough. I think the current Rockets without McGrady should be the squad to finish the year.

What do you feel is the likelihood that McGrady will play again this season?
