I've had some comparable street races myself.

The saying goes. Everyone going faster than you is a maniac, and everyone going slower is an idiot/r****d. BTW, I've never gone that fast with traffic.

So a ZX-14 runs 9 flats stock and costs 15K out the door. Let's say you have built an 8 second streetable car for 30K (you haven't but for sake of argument if it were possible) you doubled the cost to build a car that can beat a stock bike. Put a 6K turbo on the bike, run 7's, and it changes the entire argument.

The real world scenario is always a stock 600 with a 19 year old rider vs a $50K twin turbo mustang getting smoked in a freeway race that starts at 80mph. Your statement "there are cars roaming the streets of Houston that would destroy any motorcycle real quick" is pointless. There are a ****load of 300+ hp Busas out there.

You should look into adding an aftermarket exhaust to your Element.

There's also lots of 1k plus hp cars out there too, I've seen a 20k fox body destroy a GSXR1000 from a dig and roll. And if your 50k TT mustangs loses to a 600 in the "real world" you either can't drive or got a real crappy turbos kit possibly a on3 lol. There's always someone faster than you, on two or four wheels

I meant the 600 loses and then the mustang guy screams how his car is faster than any motorcycle. And again a GSXR1000, much like the bike in this video, is not a drag bike. And you saw it happen doesn't mean much. Tons of guys buy a liter bike as their first bike. It is also slower than a hayabusa. 350 hp busa >> 1000 hp car under 150 mph. So what exactly is your point again? How many 1000hp cars cost 20 grand?

    Contradiction time:

Back to the video, the bike was at two disadvantages. First it is liter bike made for cornering. Second it is top speed where power to weight matters less than aerodynamics to power. Motorcycles have crap aerodynamics for their horsepower.

I'm very aware of the advantages and disadvantages the bike has, my first bike was a 03 R1. Cost of the vehicle wasn't even part of the argument until you brought it up, hey cheap, fast, reliable right? I guess you're picking at straws since I said "any bike" in that case no there are no street cars that could beat a top fuel nitro bike. All you have to do is go to the Texas mile in chase field and see the speeds some "street" cars are running and just FYI the bike record is 278 mph and car record (M2K Ford GT) is the same so basically 2K hp Ford GT=650hp Hayabusa

Was that Audi equipped with the emissions test defeating software? Seems like an unfair advantage.

You see, I don't think you are. Because earlier I mentioned "Second it is top speed where power to weight matters less than aerodynamics to power. Motorcycles have crap aerodynamics for their horsepower." But yet you bring up a 250+ mpg event to talk about motorcycles vs cars.

I'm sure your first bike was an R1 though, and I'm sure you thought you were Rossi as soon as you bought it.

So in other words cars>bikes on top end. If you're argument is that it's not impressive for a car to beat a bike on the street or track then I'm not sure what to tell you. My statement is true, but for the sake of ending this I'll fix it. There are cars out there on the streets that can beat almost any bike. Better?

    Nah, More like Jorge Lorenzo
