And what I said.......... You got me there........sort of. I did say my car is built on the same platform as the Z. Last I checked, both were on the FM Platform. Therefore, I was worng about the SEDAN but right about my car, the COUPE. I actually thought the sedan was made on a slightly larger platform. Oh well, guess I was wrong there. But as for the interior being exactly the same.........I beg to differ on that. I tested both models and the driver seat seems more upright in the Sedan whereas the coupe has a low slung seat that appears to be more performance derived. Now as for pricing.......... I'll just give you a couple of links that provide info that clash with your pricing estimates. Most websites have a base suggested for just under 30. Now if you live in Canada, then I understand your point. The base up there is 45! I have a coupe with premium package (msrp $2,000 or something like that) That put it up to the neighborhood of about $34. From there, it is possible ot bargain your way into a deal. I beat that sucker down to 31,220. Now that's a ****in deal man! And no.........its not a used one! Links on pricing http://www.stoneage.com/pricing/pricing_trim.cfm?model=G35&year=2003&make=19&src=1434 http://www.new-cars.com/news/021118-2003-infiniti-g35-sport-coupe-prices.html http://velocityjrnl.com/jrnl/2003/vmd2921ov.html And yeah I know..................yoru gonna say that was when the car first came out. Well I bought mine in December of 02'. The car officially went on sale on November 4, 2002 so that's why those figures are posted.
Buy a Honda Accord, and put the 200 a month you save in an aggressive mutual EVERY month. Your money can either appreciate in the hands of a professional, or depreciate in an Audi. Cars are horrible wastes of money. At 23, I know you don't think of these things, but the money you save NOW, can change your life dramatically when you are older.
No offense tigereye, but those things are hideous. Why do people insist on putting these things on their cars? Uh...the Alteza was ok, but that was almost 4-5 yrs ago. Those lights go with the IS/Alteza, not with an A4. In my opinion, these things make the car look cheap. Why would you put this on an Audi? It doesn't look right. I see these things on all kinds of Honda's & Acura's, ect japanese imports. THEY LOOK BAD. They make the car look even cheaper than it is. DOn't fool yourself.
Thats what the dealer will tell you because they need to get rid of the '03. Go to the dealer and see for yourself. For 2004, lets just start off with two differences and list more later. 1) Underbody is painted to match the whole car. If you've seen the '03's you know who weird the car looks. With this new addition, it makes the car look cleaner and have a more aggressive stance lower. 2) New seats. New Sport seats that is. thats all for now... [/url] www.astrovintage.com
Well it's finally a done deal. Picked up the 2003 Light Silver, with Black Leather yesterday. Drove away at $30K flat, including TTL. It was pretty tough negotiating, but I think I got a good deal on a car I plan on driving for the next 4-5 years. Pictures will be up in a couple of days.
Nice. I'm sure you'll be pleased. As long as you didn't get a BMW - good for performance, but quite possibly the worst when it comes to stuff breaking and having to pay $500 bucks everytime, even with warranty, to fix something like a temp indicator - I know o fmultiple people who have driven a BMW off the lot and had the transmission break. Just my $0.02. Personally, I have a Lexus IS300 - it has been a very reliable ride for me, and it has some juice. My dream is to still get a used 350Z, but I can;t find a nice one in my price range.
