If it really is his old avatar, that would be hilarious.

@DreamShook , can you post your old av for comparison? Was it Olajuwon and Shaq jumping the ball to start a finals game at the summit?

Not getting Butler is a blessing in disguise. Committing Max money to a high milage, injury prone, selfish dude would not have been a good mix for this team.

The power balance in the NBA is finally equal for the most part and the Rockets championship window just creaked open a little bit more. The Rockets can def run is back and have a legitimate shot to winning it all next year.

Im so happy the Rockets didnt trade Gordon (our xfactor) and Clint and gut this team for Butler. It is going to be a blessing in disguise and you guys will know it soon.

The Rockets still in the market to made trades and also signing players using their BAE and MLE.

True. I’d forgotten all about him before this thread popped up. Besides, it doesn’t matter to me. I was just thinking that something similar had happened before with 2 other members and it got resolved. Can’t recall who it was and maybe I dreamed the entire thing. ;-)

You’re right, though. It isn’t confusing if he rarely posts. Now, if he turned into DD, that might be another kettle of oysters.

Honestly didn't read the whole thread. But this makes no sense to me.

More clearly has his faults and hasn't been able to do as much as he has wanted. He always goes after big fish and usually doesn't get them. Also, most every team in the NBA also doesn't get their big targets.

So Morey goes out on a limb, is more public than he should have been for my tastes even though that may have potentially been on purpose to get the message to Butler before he was legally able to talk to him- but then Butler chooses to go to Miami where he will be on an irrelevant team so he can have the Miami life. And this is an epic failure by Morey?

What do you suggest that he do instead? Stop trying to go after star free agents so that you won't be disappointed in the times when he doesn't get them? Or maybe move the team away from Houston to a cooler city so that NBA players would be more likely to choose to go there?

No, as others have already pointed out, we suggest he just shuts his big f*****g mouth and do all of his deals in silence, rather than laying all of his cards on the table for everyone to see, every single time.

People keep defending Morey to a fault, and bragging on what a success he's been, but the Rockets have yet to win a championship during his tenure.

Close and almost dont cut it.

    "we gonna be fine, chill"

Lakers sign AD and Kawhi to add to Lebron alongside with multiple vets.

KD and Kyrie team up in Brooklyn with DJ

    Butler signs to Miami

Warriors trade Iggy to Memphis for cap space and sign DLO. Moving to re-sign Looney.

    "#RanItBack, we gonna be fine!"

    ;)

Bro this 100%. Im every year like that - championship or failure. And people here talk like making it to wcf or second round only to get our asses beat in the prime of Harden is some great achievement

"And we should be out for blood"???

"Let the realistic fans be angry"?

You want to be "realistic"? IT'S A FREAKIN GAME SO LIGHTEN THE F UP!!!

Calling for "blood" is is EXACTLY what you're claiming the "delusional" fans do ("knee jerk reactions").

One day you'll wake up and realize that following sports is fun, but in the big picture of life it's NOT life or death and it certainly isn't worth calling for "blood" and ruining your day/happiness.

All you p***y ass crybabies need to pop a midol and switch out your rag. Few teams have as many wins and winning seasons in Moreys tenure. Spoiled ass brats don’t really know how good they have it. Instead of crying about Morey where is all the energy for Chris Paul? That greedy b**** single handedly handicapped the team.
