Chaning Frye would be a great addition! He is young and he has the potential to be a good starting PF!

Jamaal Magloire is an unrestricted free agent that would be a very good fit along side Yao. He is a very efficient PF, that sat on the Blazers bench.

Look up his stats. K-Mart has never been a beast on the boards. He just made a big production of any tough rebounds that he did get by snarling and throwing his elbows around.

no way to kmart. we have enough potential injuries to worry about.

webber would be a nice addition to this team if adleman coached here. he lost a step and can't really jump anymore but he can still create his own shot and that of others. his mid range J would be a perfect fit next to yao.

sean may would be a nice fit. young athletic and strong. can score from the post. can hit the mid range J. nice rebounder and shot blocker. he can probably play f/c here. if the bobcats draft a big (there are a lot of bigs that should go early in this draft) then may could probably be had for some nice wing players. give them a package starting with head and/or snyder. we could probably replace head with a trade for mike james or ever bring back cat!

    mcdyess...see webber

troy murphy would really spread the floor for yao plus he's a nice rebounder.

walker would be a nice steal from the heat who are probably looking to dump some salary/get more athletic. he can shoot, create his own shot, and create shots for others.

Detroit has 5 key players contract that are ending. billups, amir johnson, webber, mcdyse, and murray. billups is a keeper for them. and johnson their going to keep for cheap. webber, murray and mcdyse, one of them might not be signed. and mcdyse lives in houston. and adleman might coach the rockets. what if we got both mcdyse and webber? doubt it though.

Of all that may be available, these are the best for the Rockets, IMO.

I don't think he's really available, and he's too slow to play full-time with Yao.

Webber cannot create his own shot at this point in his career, his defence is also a huge liability, he also is very slow, Yao and webber would be the slowest frontcourt in the league and teams would smallball us to death.

Sean May's trade value is actually quite high, charlotte would also not be interested in anything the rockets have to offer, their needs are for a very accurate shooter and 4th quarter scorer.

Mcdyess would be a nice fit, although i think he would exercise his player option this year, and then probably retire next year, he has pretty much said he would've retired if detroit traded him.

troy murphy's game has regressed HUGE since his second year in the league. He has put on much weight and he is now purely a spot up shooter, his rebounding has declined dramatiacally, and his defence is probably the worst in the league, at this point in his career, juwan howard would probably outplay him.

antoine Walker's probably the worst player in the league, he demands the ball so much yet can't do much with it, he does nothing particularly well and does not make good decisions, his deficiencies would be hidden better in an uptempo team because the possessions he wastes would not be as important, but on a team like the rockets where possessions are at a premium, antoine walker would be probably the worst player possible.

sean may played 35 game this season and under 20-something in his rookie year. he got injured early in his rookie season, otherwise he was ready to play then.

may's knee might not even let him get past his rookie contract.

there are plenty of perfect PFs who will fit perfectly with Yao.

    KG, Brand....

The problem is, will Les or Morey put TMAC on the table?

I will. TMAC has everything physically but mentally, he is not a winner.

I really think Miki Moore is the best fit for that price.

TMac isn't the one who got abused in the playoffs.

He did fail to abuse the matchups that he head though. He should be good enough to take out Fisher + Giricek. But more often than not he settled on the jumper. He was attacked on the defensive end by Harping posting up on him. You could literally see how he was struggling to keep him out of the paint.

I live in Charlotte and saw May on the street the other day. He is pudgy, and was walking on crutches. He is always injured and hasnt seemed to work hard to get in shape.

Even with that said, Charlotte will not give him away since he is still on his rookie deal and not that expensive. Plus they have tons of cap room so dumping him doesnt help at all for them. If they dont get value its easier to just keep him, cuz if I remember correctly I think they almost had to pay thier players extra cuz they didnt hit the league minimum salary.

I like what Udonis Haslem would bring to the team.

Even Kelvin Cato returning would be an upgrade at PF

I really do not understand why eveyone is so gung-ho on getting a power forward. What we need is not a power forward Chuckie and Juwon can at least man that spot. We need a real point guard ala Mo Williams and a guy to bring something off the bench ala Mo Peterson.
