Yeah, that's actually the first thing I thought when I saw this thing, too:

Deke should have no worry - besides all his on court achievements -- what he has done off the court the NBA will make sure he gets in the HOF -- thats exactly the type of image they want all their young stars to emulate

if rox had Deke of 04-09 as their backup center, they would have been 4 or 5th seat in the conference, easily.

even at the late stage of his career, he is still very good at defence and rebounding. Rox will be much better defensively.

    Deke, a no- brainer HOFer.

The Rockets need to retire his number. He is one of the greatest defenders of all time so he deserves the honor. He also gave so much honor to the Rockets and Houston.

Man I wish we had the Denver Mutombo, that version was a beast, even the one at Philly

Deke is the man. I still can't believe how much he gave us years after his prime. His contributions extended in so many areas that I'm honored he considers himself a Rocket.

I still remember the block that put him at number 2 all time. It was against the Lakers on Bynum. Awesome moment for a great person.

Am I the only one that read the quotes in Deke's voice?

4x Defensive Player Of The Year, 8x All-Star. He is HOF without a doubt.

Those Rockets teams Deke played for loved each other, we had some amazing team chemistry.
