Worth it? I know it's rhetorical, but my feelings have not changed, and while I am overjoyed that we will be married by the church and able to take the Eucharist, I would much rather have done this years ago. So to answer, is it worth the wait. Of course. Did the wait have any influence on feelings or decisions? Only extra stress, work, and frustration.
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything like that. I mean, you guys are finally getting married in the eyes of church. Family drama isn't always fun but you proved that you are able to prevail despite the obstacles. Again, wishing you guys best of luck!
